While Tom Pelphrey’s been off promoting his new HBO Original drama series TASK, his 2-year-old daughter Matilda has been at home missing him. Now he’s finally back — and Matilda couldn’t be happier! Kaley Cuoco just shared the sweetest photos of the father-daughter reuniting, and it’ll melt your heart.

“Dada’s home,” The Big Bang Theory alum wrote on her Instagram story on Thursday. She also included a “Love” sticker with a heart for the “o.” In the snap, Pelphrey sits at a table next to Matilda, who is leaned in to snuggle into her dad’s chest. 

Her eyes are closed, and she has the biggest smile on her face in an expression of pure bliss. Pelphrey’s eyes are also closed as he leans down to kiss his daughter’s head in the sweetest candid moment we’ve ever seen. You can tell she’s a daddy’s girl to her core!

In another picture, Pelphrey and Cuoco sit on the floor next to a glass door leading to their backyard. Matilda stands in front of them, clearly engaged in a story of some kind, as her parents look on with a look of utter adoration on their faces.

 Finally, the last picture has Pelphrey standing in front of the door with Matilda by his side. She is pointed at something, and Pelphrey is just gazing down at her, soaking in the moment.

Matilda has been a daddy’s girl since she was born. In an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show last year, the Based on a True Story star revealed, “She loves her Dada, oh boy! Let me tell you, she would push me into a burning fire to get to her Dada. ’Dada, Dada!’ Everything is ‘Dada!’”

“They’re very much in love. I know, it’s kind of amazing. And he would possibly push me into a flame to get to her too,” Cuoco quipped.
